Hail to the Great Singapore Sale!! Went on a little shopping spree with Cher Mei today~ I had to reward myself for working so hard for the past entire week. Since i started work at Cedele, i haven't had much time to do shopping and not to mention, socialise. So..woke up slightly earlier than expected hence left home earlier as well. Orchard Road was quite packed by the time we reached there. I had to avoid Raffles City and Suntec City as i wanted to avoid ALL chances of bumping into Chris at any of the Cedele outlets.
I must say i probably OVER spoilt myself a little more than i should todae. ahahah.. Bought 2 tops from Mango and one from Topshop, a CD, 4 rubber bands, a new pair of slippers, treated Cher Mei and myself to a nice meal at a japanese restaurant, and on the way home, i couldn't resist the temptation of the freshly baked muffins at Break Talk so i bought 2 chocolate chip muffins and a few other breads for breakfast tomorrow. I'd probably spent almost 200 bucks todae. More than what i earned for the week. AhahHAhaHA.. Luckily i brought Cher Mei along with me and she was stopping me from walking into another boutique and telling me not to buy anything more. I cannot imagine how much i would have spent if Cher Mei hadn't stop me. LOL.
Time passes so much faster when you're at home doing nothing compared to when you're working. In a blink of an eye its already evening time. I dun even remember when time passes so quickly when i was working. Which reminds me.. I'm working from 7.30 AM to 3.30 pm tomorrow. I sure hope i am able to wake up. The last time i had to wake up so f*cking early was back in Secondary sch daes. I shall look forward to another off dae. Thursdae. Shopping anyone??!?!

YeS!!! Tmr off! I seriously needed tmr off. My legs would probably give way if i had to work tmr. Time just passes so much slower at Suntec as compared to Great World. But, i must admit that other than the 2 girls who were pretty nasty to me yesterdae, my other co-workers were much friendlier. Found out that tmr will be the last dae for 2 of the workers there and thus, i am proud to sae that from Tuesdae onwards, i will play a very important role at Suntec Cedele. AhAhAHAhAh..
After some deliberation this morning, i decided not to request for a transfer. I figured y not try to make the best out of the worst? So, i'm gonna TRY very hard to communicate with my fellow co-workers at Suntec. I just hope Auntie Jenny doesn't give me a hard time at the sandwich section.
Things that happened todae at work:
1) Beef Stew did not come as expected today. So i had to climb up to the board to erase the menu.
2) I finally learnt how to cut the banana mer-rang (wadever the spelling)
3) I burnt myself with the hot coffee.
4) I made onli 1 pathetic latte.
5) Cheryl ALMOST chop 4 of my fingers away with the cake knife.
6) Kumar caught a mouse in the kitchen!!!!!
6) Farid BOUGHT a cage for the mouse!
7) Auntie Jenny NAMED the mouse: Hammy
Things to do the next time i speak to Chris:
1) Ask for a higher pay. If rejected, tell him i noe he's paying Shawn 5 bucks / threathen to quit.
2) Tell him i'm working like a FULL-timer and its onli rite he pay me more coz i'm covering for the lack of man-power at Suntec.
2) Ask for one more off day per week.

Work at Suntec City totally sucked BIG TIME today. I miss Chuiling, Shawn and all the workers at Great World City!!! The people at Suntec vs the people at Great World are POLES APART. I tink the onli things that were said to me todae was 'excuse me'.
ArGH~ working at Suntec totally spoilt my mood for blogging and all other stuff. So i'm gonna keep this entry short and sweet.
Things to do tmr:
1) Wake up earlier to have breakfast
2) Try to be happy at work
3) Call Chris and try to get a transfer
4) Call Body Shop and demand for me pay

3 days of consecutive work finally came to a stop. Yesterday (27th May) was the busiest day we encountered at Cedele. As usual, Shawn, Chuiling and i started work at 10am. As we've bonded rather well, time passed fast enuff and in a breeze, the lunch hour arrived. Due to a little miscommunication, Shawn and I were the onli ones tending the coffee counter. All at once, the orders starting pouring in. Lattes, cappuccinos, hot chocolate, ice mochas, smoothies.. U name it, Shawn and I made it. It was like a nightmare came true. Our co-workers were just shouting the orders, pushing orders to us and hurrying the chef. The whole coffee counter was a total mess. With coffee powder all over the coffee grinding machine, chocolate, coffee and milk all over the sink, I tink anyone who saw the state of the coffee area would probably cancel their orders. To make things worse, we couldn't foam the bloody milk. So the cuppaccinos turned out rather "sad-looking" as Shawn described them. However, thank god there were 2 of us at the coffee counter so the orders actually went out and there were no missing orders even though we made 3 extra iced-mochas and a hot chocolate.
Our day ended in a rather sad note when we found out that 3 of us will be posted to different outlets. I'll be at the Suntec City outlet from tomorrow onwards. Shawn will be at Great World City and Chuling at Raffles City. Chuiling and I have agreed to meet up during lunch time. Or to pay each other a visit during our break periods. Though it was onli a short 3 daes we spent together, we've bonded really well and it was sad to have to part now that we're used to having each other around.
Well, the nightmare will start officially when i report for work at Suntec City tomorrow. Its a weekend and Chris mentioned that the crowd gets 2 to 3 times more at Suntec City during the weekends. So..i can onli wish my fellow friends, Chuiling and Shawn, and MYSELF good luck tmr.

Phew, finally back to the comfort of my own home from Cedele Graet World City. Went for a little training session at Great World City this morning at 11a.m together with Shawn and another girl. The training started shortly after the boss arrived. Tons and tons of imformation was thrown at us almost all at once. From the different kinds of breads, sandwiches, pastries, cakes to coffee, smoothies etc. Surprisingly, given my condition, i survived the training without much problems. EXCEPT...i had to FORCE myself to stay awake while my boss was briefing us on the equipments and the coffee contents. The boss eve let us tried SoOoOO many different kinds of cakes, pastries, sandwiches, soup, pizza, smoothies etc. I thought i was gonna puke any moment as my appetite wasn't that fantasic due to my sickness. But the food there was not bad at all.
It was kinda interesting to see how a little shot of expresso can make so many different types of coffee. The cold coffees were a little harder to remember, but this could also be due to the fact that our minds were full by the time we reached the cold coffee receipes. The boss tested us by asking each of us to make a different type of coffee. My task was to make an iced-mocha. Frankly speaking, i was a little nervous as i made the coffee. And this nervousness resulted in a little 'explosion' in the microwave. ahahha..U see, i was supposed to heat the chocolate before mixing it with warm milk but i forgot. So i heated the chocolate together WITH the milk and i guess the milk started boiling in the microwave and when i opened the microwave, to my horror, about 1 quarter of the drink spilled. EVERYONE started laffing, including the boss himself. Well, i can onli sae that thank god it diden explode, literally. After that iced-mocha was done, the boss asked me to make the mango strawberry smoothie. Once again, due to my nervousness, i poured too much mango and strawberry puree. But the end result was not that bad so..yeah~ Other than the little explosion, I must say the whole training went rather well.
We'll be going back Great World City tomorrow and it'll sort of be our official first day coz the boss said that the three of us, Shawn, me and the other girl, will be in charge of the drinks session. So...wish me luck~

Monday Blues. An excuse used by many all over the world. I must say the person who invented this phrase deserve a round of applause for his/her 'accurate-ness' in describing each Monday. Y do i say so? Let me just briefly bring you through TODAY, 24th May 2004, Monday.
Woke up at 12pm sharp as i arranged to meet Qiuying for a movie at Plaza Singapura. As i sat up on my bed, i felt a tinny winny bit of dizziness but brush that issue away as i was bent on going out todae. Mum had to ask me to run errands for her today. So i went downstairs to buy the Ribena which she requested and when i got home, i looked at the clock and it showed 1.15pm. I was supposed to leave home at 2 and it doesn't make me feel any better knowing that i still had to iron my top, feed BitbiT, mop and sweep my room. Half of my mood was gone by then. To make things worse, the feeling of dizziness just got worse as i made my way down to Raffles City to meet Qiuying. I thought i was gonna fall flat on my face any moment. Surprisingly, i made it to the train station and through the movie alive. Though i must sae i couldn't really sit still in the cinema, i managed to survive the movie and not to mention, a little shopping. ;) Wasn't feeling very good in my head so i let qiuying do most of the talking. ahaha...No Qiuying, i'm not saying that u're very loh soh. ok? Dun get me wrong. Newae, as though my day wasn't bad enuff, i went home to realize that i was running a fever. 38.5 degrees. Very good. In order to prevent myself from falling even sicker, i went to pay my doctor a little visit. She gave me 2 days MC. Did i mention that i have a training session with my boss tmr at 11 am at Great World City?????? This is one training session i dun wan to miss as the boss might not be free next time and my chance of working will equate to zero. The Problem is I dun even noe if i'll survive tonight considering the fact that as i type this entry, my hands are shaking away~ And Mum HAS to cook my favourite curry chicken TODAY! Of all days TODAY! How worse can my day get?
There u have it, my description of 'today's' Moday Blues. One of the bluest Mondays i've had. Oh, and RIGHT now, there is wayang going on opposite my block and the noise they make is not helping me get rid of my headache.

Been waiting for the boss of Cedele to call me. How come he haven't call me???!?! Shawn called me this early afternoon saying that he received the call from the boss already. Dammit.. NvM~ i shall look on the bright side.. If the boss doesn't call, it'll just mean dat i have more holidaes! And i'll be able to go eat steamboat with ahmah, go zouk this wed, go ktv, go ahmah's hse ton, go shopping, watch more tv, most importantly, SLEEP MORE! *hMpH* Sickening.. AhMah! Shopping tmR wan anot?!? If no money den we WINDOW shop. I wan to wear my new shoes. ahahah.. Oh yah..can we go and watch a movie too? I very long never watch movie already leh..
Dad's over at grandma's place again. Same old Sunday routine. Mahjong. I can't even remember when was the last time i touched mahjong. Btw, i need a haircut. Its getting on my nerves that my hair is NOT growing at all. Its been like wad...half a year?? And i need a new computer too. This computer is getting old and starting to become a little useless. I dun see any point in trying to solve the problems that lies in my computer anymore. The last time ahmah did a full system scan for me, the results showed 7 different types of trojan horseS. Not forgetting that was AFTER i cleared the 2 worms that had been in my computer for almost 2 months!
I must say this holiday goes into my list of 'rotting holidaes'. Its been quite some time since i last rotted SoOOoOO much during the hols. I was kept occupied the previous 2 hols with work. Rotting this holidae away made me come to a realization. AHMAH..U REALLY VERY GOOD AT ROTTING LEH!! CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT U ROT E.V.E.R.Y S.I.N.G.L.E HOLIDAY! Yes. This rotting queen is my BEsT friend>>
No one i know is better at rotting than her...ahahaha...ahmah..Faster thank me..I made u famous! ahah!!! Dun worry ahmah, even if now the whole world noes u're rotting queen, i still love you. ;)

Today is a super long dae for me. As usual, woke up at 12 plus. Decided to go shopping coz i haven't been shopping in a while. And how could i miss the Great Singapore sale? Although it's not officially started, some major shopping places have already started their sale. I wanted to buy a new swim suit but decided against the idea coz i din wan to pay for it myself. hee..Costs of these thing should be bourned by PARENTS. So i bought a pair of heels from Charles & Keith, using the DISCOUNT COUPON from wOnDeRfUL aHmAH! ahahah..
Had to rush home by 6pm coz one of my uncles made reservations at a restaurant at Mosque St. The staff efficiency there was TERRIBLE. I tink the interval between each dish was about 10-15 minutes. And the food kinda sucked. But the portions were huge though. By the time the 6th dish arrived, i tot my stomach was gonna explode. However, i do not tink it was the food i ate that made me full. I tink it was the TEA. I probably drank 6-8 glasses of tea during the intervals. Newae, was on my way home when my dear Qiuying called. Half an hour later, she was over at my place. ahahah...Oh yah..Qiuying, thanks for teaching me how to add pictures in my blog!

Its a BEAUTIFUL weekend and im stuck at home doing absolutely NOTHING. Woke up at around 2 plus and rotted all the way. There are no nice shows to watch, no more VCDs for me to watch either, no phone calls, no SMSes. Nothing at all. Maybe i should juz go back and sleep. I shouldn't have woken up in the first place man. Wad the hell.

Just came home from an interview at 'Cedele' Raffles City. Shawn called at approximately 3.10pm and asked if i was able to be at Raffles City in an hour's time. Well, i must say my getting ready skills are rather fantastic. Within 20 mintues, i was on my way. Shawn my dear fren on the other hand, was late due to his carelessness (Y am i not surprised~). Lucky for him the boss was out for lunch. That bought him some time. I must sae the boss of Cedele was a rather nice person. He basically asked stuff that any employer would ask during an interview..Qns like 'wad are ur plans now?', 'Wad made u wan to work here?'..blah blah blah. Being a future marketer, i obviously replied with answers which boosted his ego a little and complimented the cafe and stuff like dat. If all goes well, the boss might call us tmr for a training session. He said he'd call latest by Tues. Well, i can onli pray that Shawn and i get posted to the same outlet. That way, we can collaborate in 'da-baoing' some of the food there home~ ;) Finally, yet ANOTHER item off my 'give me' list...hOoRaY!~

*yAwN* No entries yesterdae coz I was out the ENTIRE day with ahmah and chris. We went Haw Par Villa for sightseeing! ahaha.. Its been a pretty long time since i last visited Haw par Villa. I must sae either my memory is failing me or the place's changed a LOT. Met ahmah and chris at Hougang and took bus 51 straight to Haw Par Villa. The journey there took us 2 hours!!!! And the Internet stated that the journey would onli take 74 minutes. F*ck it lah. To make things worse, the weather was damn humid and it onli took us onli 1 hour to finish walking through the entire place, shorter than how long it took us to TRAVEL there. Chris took photos as though she's from another country, Ahmah kept worrying whether we could step on the statues. As for me..i was busy wiping my sweat the whole time.
Since there was nothing left for us to see at Haw Par Villa coz almost half of that place was under going some renovations, we decided to head to jurong point for lunch/dinner. Again, the bus journey took us almost an hour. And we did not stay long at jurong point either reason being...ahmah suddenly wanted to go KTV. Chris and I couldn't resist the temptation so once again, we change destination and were soon on our way to Hougang Kbox (nearest to ahmah's hse). From there, we sang from 7.30pm all the way till almost 3am. We wanted to make our money's worth. I tink anyone who heard us yesterdae would not be able to eat for a week. ah ha. We covered almost all the languages that were available at Kbox. From English to Chinese to Cantonese to Hokkien and not to mention, ALOT of very very old songs which Chris happens to be very good at. The KTV session ended at a very high mood with Chris and i singing some very 'or-biang' songs which led to ahmah being in a state of shock. Ahmah, told u to PRACTICE rite?!
Did not go home yesterdae and now i'm missing BitBit. I tink she misses me too.. hahah...maybe i should go home and feed her coz i'm a little hungry myself. AhHaHAh.. and i'm also a little worried that Cher Mei might 'torture' her. I see the way Cher Mei strokes her makes me feel so glad that i'm not a rabbit. But..POOR BitBit though~ There goes the beeping sound of my phone which reminds me battery's low.

I bought my X70!!! One more item off my wish list! Finally!! After almost a month of consideration, i finally bought a new phone. Bought the Panasonic X70 in the end coz the other Samsung phone costs $200 more. Dad saes i can get that some other time. Or maybe a better one next time. The X70 cost me $398 k! It'd probably take me another month or so to save up the amount of money. Whatever it is, i got my new phone and i'm one hApPiE gIrl~! Now, i'd onli have to wait for it to charge 8 hours and i can start playing with it!!
It rained cats and dogs this morning at around 11.30am. I was sOoOO glad for the rain that i specially woke up from my beauty slp to appreciate the rain. In the midst of closing the windows, i got drenched. Yes, the rain was DAT heavy. Even though so, i was happie that it finally rained after sOoOO f*ucking long. However, my happiness was shortlived. 15 mintues later, i saw the sun again. And Cher Mei brought her jacket to school tinking that the rain would not stop. Now i wonder how the hell is she gonna carry all her stuff home considering the fact that she brought her school bag, 2 paper bags worth of dunno what, an umbrella, a HUGE water bottle and the stupid jacket. I can onli wish her good luck.
BitBit gave me a new scratch again todae. I tink she tinks she's a super rabbit. She actually hopped off ME while i was carrying her. oh..did i mentioned that i was STANDING while carrying her??? One fine dae that rabbit of mine is gonna break her legs. I actually diden want to let her out coz she's destroying everything she sees. Mum has been shouting and scolding the rabbit..as though BitBit understands. But i had to let her out coz i saw an ANT in her cage eating HER corn!! Bloody hell..the corn is for BITBIT! Not for ants! So i guess its time to clean her cage again. One of my frens told me that the vet said it is better to wash pet's cages with hot water to kill any germs. So, i'm gonna listen to the vet. Should anything happens, the vet is gonna get it from me.

What's with the weather these few weeks?? Its either too f*cking HOT or it juz rains the whole f*cking dae. Went to pick Cher Mei from school at 2.45 todae. Even though we had the car, the weather was still hot enuff to drain every bit of energy i had. A 5 minute walk from TTSH to Novena Square and i was already perspiring. As though i wasn't pitiful enuff, the Starhub outlet at Novena Square had to run out of X70. But since i was bent on getting my hp todae, i decided to head to Bedok where they reserved a model for me. Upon reaching, i saw another Samsung model dat attracted me. I made the mistake of asking the price and ended up NOT getting my hp todae coz i couldn't make up my mind which model i really wanted. shit. My dad saes the Panasonic X70 is nicer but i preferred the samsung S700A. So..once again, i'm stuck with my 8310 for i tink another week or so. Its time i learn to make up my mind and not be fickle minded.
My luck's been pretty bad recently. Every plan that was made had to be cancelled due to UNFORESEE circumstances. Which means, i'd probably have to stay at home the whole of this week coz NO ONE has the mood to go anywhere. Maybe i should juz pack my room. That will take up half of the week. The remaining half shall be spent sleeping. Or maybe i should juz do a disappearing act until someone rememebers that i exists. Whatever it is, it still comes down to one fact: i'm staying at home for the whole of this week. I'm not gonna entertain ANY invitations to go out. That's it.

New skin, new outlook. Most importantly, its ORANGE!!! Had a really hard time trying to redo the whole skin and adding in the particulars as well as the decorations at the bottom of the page. Finally managed to get the tagboard done. Can't change the colour of the 'name', 'email' and 'message' though. I have absolutely no idea how to change the colour of the text. If some kind soul happenes to noe how to, kindly let me noe. Thanks. Meanwhile, all of you will have to bear with the current tagboard for the moment for this is the best i can do.
Mum has been complaining that BitBit's body seems to be itching. So, i decided to bathe her. OMG~ this has got to be the worst nightmare ever! The moment i put her into her half filled with water cage, she started hopping like mad. I had no choice but to carry her and in the process, she struggled and splashed nearly one quarter of the water onto me. That is not the end. Even when i was carrying her, she continued struggling and i ended up with a few scratches on my body yet again. Well, at least she's clean and smelling nice now~
Cher Mei's not going to school tmr~ She's gonna have her ears checked at TTSH. Afterwhich we'll proceed to get my new handphone...hopefully. Its been like wad..a month? I waited and waited until my 8310's value dropped from $180 to $100. fuck. However~~~ my mum has volunteered to chip in $100 for my new phone! hOorAy! But i tink she has a motive. I juz need to find out. Coz she's been against the idea of me getting a new phone from the very start. So i'm beginning to wonder y the sudden helpfulness.
Newae, zouk this Wed anyone?????????? One of my frens had to bring forward her trip at this time. Now its left with 3 persons again, from the initial 8 pple? WTF. If no one's going, i'm going to KTV then. Ahmah..steady ah...this wed if no zouk we go KTV. Practice ur singing skills NOW coz i'm not gonna give u any chances!

Spent half of my WoNdErFuL early afternoon trying to contribute as much as i can to this blog rather than juz add posts. Got woken up by ahmah. Told me her hamster might be dying. I consoled her a little coz i was still in sleep mode. Ahmah..if u're looking at my blog, dun tink too much ok? Death is part and parcel of life. U still have me and BitBit!
Went PS with ahmah and Chris yesterdae with a motive in mind after i tendered my resignation letter to The Body Shop. I shall not reveal that motive of mine. Turns out, yesterdae was one of the most embarrassing daes of my life. I'm NEVER gonna step into PS StarHub again. Oh yah..btw Chris, THANKS for laffing SOOOooO loudly in the shop! And it certainly does make me feel BETTER when you keep reminding me the incident throughout the rest of the day.
Phew, finally the irritating construction works is finished FOR THE DAY. The torturing noise started at i tink 9AM. Hello?? has it ever occurred to them that there are pple who sleep late at night??!! Since the construction works' stop for the dae, I shall now proceed to continue with my beauty sleep.

ok..i'm juz trying to get the hang of this. I'll have to admit dat this blog is done by my good fren qiuying, with the help of another fren, christine, and not by me. Thanks guys for helping me set up this blog. My job here will be to ADD POSTS. The layouts and designs will be coordinated by my 2 very capable assistants. ah ha. ok..Let's see how this goes.
